I have always LOVED everything to do with wellness, food, health, movement and I recognise the importance in creating, sustaining and maintaining healthy, happy individuals. Health, wellness, nutrition and educating others have been my passion and purpose for many years.
Like most, I have had challenges with my health and nutrition. I am so grateful for the journey it has taken me on and the lessons that I have learned along the way. I truly believe your path through life teaches you the most valuable lessons. Since making changes to my own lifestyle habits, I feel empowered not restricted, I enjoy my life now more than ever.
EDUCATION
I pursued my lifelong goal of studying health wellness and nutrition, after careers in the corporate world as commercial manager. Helping and educating people of all ages has always been what has driven me throughout my career.
After graduating with a Bachelor in Corporate Communication and two university masters in Economics and in Business Administration, I started my corporate career in Italy for then move to The Netherlands. As a lifelong learner, I kept studying Business, Leadership and Influencing skills, which resulted in over 13 year career accross different industries. Elevating, empowering and enabling others have been my passion and purpose for many years. Which led me to collaborate as guest lecturer with different Universities in several occasions and join mentorship programs as mentor within organizations. After over a decade working as a manager, I realised I needed to pursue my lifelong dream of studying wellness, nutrition and health. I wanted to understand the science behind the choices I had been implementing to improve my own health over the years and to empower others to do the same. I decided to go back to school and certify myself as a Certified Coach! For this reason In addition, I pursued my passion for movement and yoga by becoming a certified yoga teacher.
MY JOURNEY
My own health journey has formed much of my view on the importance of health education. And though I advocate for a healthy lifestyle now- I cannot say that I have always subscribed to it.
When I was 33, I invested myself in studying how to reach an holistic healthy lifestyle. This led me to begin my journey towards healthy eating and healthier lifestyle choices. Like many people, I’ve had my own physical health challenges. Before taking the decision to change my lifestyle, I experienced physical symptoms which impacted my health and left me with several gut issues.
These challenges have enabled me to bring all of my skills, training, life experiences, knowledge and lifestyle habits together to do what I do daily as a wellness, health and nutrition coach. It truly is a joy, passion, and purpose.
